The Lion Lick-King

ROAR ADORABLE! THIS IS THE MOMENT A CUB LOOKED LESS THAN IMPRESSED WHEN HE WAS SMOTHERED WITH LICKS BY DOTING LIONESSES

Every child dreads the moment the relatives smother them with kisses and this lion cub is no different covered in licks from these doting lionesses. In these amazing photos the little king of the jungle has the expression of a youngster having an adult use a damp tissue to remove a smudge from his face. The three-month-old youngster was clearly the mane attraction for these fearsome females from the Sala Pride in the Masai Mara, Kenya. The pride was photographed just after dawn at a time when the big cats often groom themselves as part of the bonding process. Mark Boyd, the Director of the conservation group Safari Collection Footprint Foundation, took these heart-warming photos at a location known as Sala’s Camp.
