PHOTOGRAPHER GETS WHALE-Y CLOSE TO ENORMOUS LEAPING HUMPACK TO SNAP AWESOME PICTURES

 This photographer got WHALE-Y close to an enormous leaping humpback to snap these awesome pictures. Craig Parry and his crew were just in a four-metre inflatable when this baleen behemoth exploded from the depths in front of them. The 40-tonne whale sent waves crashing over the small vessel as it leapt 30-foot out of the water in a spectacular breaching display. Despite the difficult conditions Chris, aged 40, was able to take some amazing images during this thrilling encounter in Byron Bay Australia. Humpback whales migrant up and down the eastern Australian coast heading to warmer waters in the north to breed and then back down to colder waters in the south to feed. As these photographs who Craig was able to capture his leaping subject in incredible detailed framed against the warm light of the setting sun. Professional wildlife photographer Craig, who has worked with Hollywood stars like Chris Hemsworth and director James Cameron, said on this particular trip he brought a friend with him who was blown away by how close they got to this natural giant. He said: “To be that close to this amazing spectacle was a rare moment that I’ll never forget.
